The GAS GAS SM450 Supermotard was a single cylinder, four-stroke standard produced by GAS GAS between 2004 and 2010.

Engine[edit | edit source]

The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 97.0mm bore x 60.8mm stroke result in a displacement of just 449.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).

The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the multidisc in oil bath, hydraulically operated..

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 120/60-17 front tire and a 150/60-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc. 2-piston caliper, nissin in the front and a single disc. single-oiston in the rear. The front suspension was a 45 mm upside-down fork while the rear was equipped with a aluminum swing arm. sachs shock absorber.. The SM450 Supermotard was fitted with a 1.98 Gallon (7.50 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 262.35 pounds (119.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 56.69 inches (1440 mm) long.
