The Gas Gas EC 300E was a liquid-cooled, two-stroke, single cylinder Enduro motorcycle produced by Gas Gas in 2011. Max torque was 36.14 ft/lbs (49.0 Nm) @ 6900 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 50.02 HP (37.3 KW) @ 7300 RPM.

A 71.1mm bore x 71.1mm stroke result in a displacement of just 298.0 cubic centimeters.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 6-speed, manual transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc, manual.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 90/90 -21 front tire and a 140/80 -18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single 260mm disc, 1-piston caliper in the front and a single 220mm disc, 1-piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a 48mm Sachs upside-down telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a Sachs monoshock with progressive linkage. The wheelbase was 58.11 inches (1476 mm) long.
2011 Gas Gas EC 300E[edit | edit source]
The "E"-suffixed version of the Gas Gas EC 300 is a motorcycle designed exclusively for enduro racing, and, unlike the base model, has been fitted with a Sachs suspension package, composed of a 48mm upside-down telescopic front fork coupled to a monoshock with progressive linkage in the rear, a new headlight, an electric starter and a new silencer.
In the engine department it sports a liquid-cooled, two-stroke, 298cc, single cylinder powerhouse that was paired to a six-speed manual transmission with a chain final drive and can reach a maximum power output of 50 horsepower and 49 Nm of torque.
