The Gilera DNA50 was a single cylinder, two-stroke standard produced by Gilera between 2002 and 2007.

Engine[edit | edit source]

The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, two-stroke. A 40.0mm bore x 39.3mm stroke result in a displacement of just 49.4 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the automatic dry centrifuge type.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 120/70-14 front tire and a 140/70-14 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a hydraulic fork with ø 35 mm downtubes while the rear was equipped with a single damper with adjustable spring. The DNA50 was fitted with a 2.38 Gallon (9.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 222.67 pounds (101.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 52.36 inches (1330 mm) long.
