The Gilera Nexus 125 was a single cylinder, four-stroke scooter produced by Gilera between 2007 and 2009. It could reach a top speed of 64 mph (103 km/h). Max torque was 8.63 ft/lbs (11.7 Nm) @ 8000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 14.21 HP (10.6 KW) @ 9750 RPM.

Engine[edit | edit source]

The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 57.0mm bore x 46.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 124.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (sohc).

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a automatic transmission. Power was moderated via the dry centrifugal type with damping plugs.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 120/70-14 front tire and a 140/60-14 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc. stainless steel disk, two-piston floating caliper in the front and a single disc. stainless steel disk, caliper with two opposite pistons in the rear. The front suspension was a elescopic hydraulic fork with ö 35 mm shafts; while the rear was equipped with a double hydraulic shock absorber with four-position spring preload. The Nexus 125 was fitted with a 3.96 Gallon (15.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 410.06 pounds (186.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 60.24 inches (1530 mm) long.

The 2007 MY Gilera Nexus 125 has, at its heart, an air-cooled, four-stroke, 124cc, single cylinder powerplant, paired to a continuously variable transmission (CVT) and can reach a maximum power output of 15 horsepower and 12 Nm of torque.

Also, it has been fitted with dual headlights, a dual seat with lumbar support for the rider, passenger grab handles, an under-seat storage compartment, a detachable windshield, a digital instrument display, a telescopic front fork coupled to dual adjustable shocks in the rear, front and rear disc brakes and blacked-out wheels.
