The Gilera TG1 125 was a Two stroke, single cylinder, air cooled Classic motorcycle produced by Gilera in 1981. Claimed horsepower was 14.48 HP (10.8 KW) @ 7300 RPM.

Engine[edit | edit source]

A 55.9mm bore x 55.9mm stroke result in a displacement of just 122.5 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 5-Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi disc.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 2.75-18 front tire and a 3.00-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Single disc 260 mm in the front and a Drum in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a Dual Shocks. The wheelbase was 51.42 inches (1306 mm) long.

Presented at the Milan Motorcycle and Motorcycle Show in 1979, it was equipped with a Mikuni automatic mixer. The oil percentage ranged from 0.5 to 4% depending on the engine load (gas opening and engine speed). The top beam of the frame contained about 2 liters of 2-stroke oil.
