The engine was a air cooled v2, four-stroke. A 98.4mm bore x 111.3mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1690.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the multi-plate with diaphragm spring in oil bath.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 130/70-b18 front tire and a 160/70-b17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc. 4-piston fixed. abs. in the front and a single disc. 2-piston torque-free floating. in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a twin shocks. The Dyna Switchback was fitted with a 4.7 Gallon (17.79 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 696.0 pounds (315.7 Kg). The wheelbase was 62.8 inches (1595 mm) long.
