The Harley-Davidson SST250 was a single cylinder, two-stroke standard produced by Harley-Davidson between 1976 and 1977. It could reach a top speed of 77 mph (124 km/h). Claimed horsepower was 19.58 HP (14.6 KW) @ 7000 RPM.

The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, two-stroke. A 72.0mm bore x 59.6mm stroke result in a displacement of just 243.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a port control.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 5-speed transmission.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 3.25-19 front tire and a 4.00-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a expanding brake in the rear. The SST250 was fitted with a 2.77 Gallon (10.50 Liters) fuel tank.
