The engine was a Air cooled cooled Two stroke, single cylinder. The engine featured a 10.3:1 compression ratio.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 3.25 -19 front tire and a 4.00 -18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Single disc in the front and a Drum in the rear. The front suspension was a Oil damper Ceriant telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a Pivoted fork and Betor dampers 3-way adjustment. The SST250 was fitted with a 10.5 Liters / 2.7 US gal fuel tank. The bike weighed just 114 kg / 252 lbs.
