The Harley-Davidson XLX 1000-61 was a v2, four-stroke standard produced by Harley-Davidson between 1982 and 1985. It could reach a top speed of 99 mph (159 km/h). Claimed horsepower was 48.95 HP (36.5 KW) @ 6000 RPM.

The engine was a air cooled v2, four-stroke. A 81.0mm bore x 96.8mm stroke result in a displacement of just 997.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a overhead valves (ohv).

The bike has a 4-speed transmission.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a mj 90-19 front tire and a mt 90-16 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The XLX 1000-61 was fitted with a 2.25 Gallon (8.50 Liters) fuel tank.
