Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a D401 MM90B19 PT front tire and a D402 MM90B16 PT rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single 292mm disc, 4-piston caliper in the front and a single 292mm disc, 4-piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a 39mm telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a preload adjustable monoshock. The wheelbase was 63.5 inches (1613 mm) long.

House Milwaukee have designed a better-equipped version of the Defender police motorcycle, in the embodiment of the 2003 MY Harley Davidson Dyna Defender Emergency. This machine comes stanadrd with a rear trunk that can be equipped with the necessary tools and supplies to overcome any emergency that might occur.
At its heart lies an air-cooled, 1450cc, Twin Cam 88 Vibration Isolated V-Twin powerplant paired to a five-speed manual transmission and can produce 117 Nm of torque at 3500 rpm. In all other departments, it shares its parts and features with the base Defender, such as the hard saddlebags, the detachable windscreen or the 13-spoke wheels.
