Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 6-Speed, manual, Cruise Drive transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi-disc, manual.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a BW 130/80B17 front tire and a BW 180/65B16 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Dual 300mm discs, 4-piston caliper in the front and a Single 300mm disc, 4-piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a 41mm telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a Air-adjustable monoshock. The Fire/Rescue Road King was fitted with a 1.59 Gallon (6.00 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 63.5 inches (1613 mm) long.

It has received improvements, as opposed to its previous embodiment, such as the new ABS, the Brembo braking system, the automatic compression release, the Electronic Throttle Control (ETC), a larger, 6-gallon fuel tank, a jiffy stand interlock, and a pivot saddle.

This machine was designed for fire department workers, and comes standard with a siren, special lights, and all the other features they would need to prevent and contain emergencies of every kind.

Other features include a new frame and swingarm, a new, 68-tooth rubber isolated rear drive sprocket, a new, 2-1-2 exhaust system, a new LED rear fender tip light and LED license plate illumination, a new increased lean angle and improved comfort for the rider.
