The Harley Davidson Shrine Fat Boy was a air-cooled, Twin Cam 96B Cruiser motorcycle produced by Harley Davidson between 2008 and 2011. Max torque was 93.68 ft/lbs (127.0 Nm) @ 3000 RPM.

A 94.0mm bore x 94.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1584.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a chain transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc, manual.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 140/75R17 67V front tire and a 200/55R17 78V rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single 292mm disc, 4-piston caliper in the front and a single 292mm disc, 2-piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a monoshock. The Shrine Fat Boy was fitted with a 1.32 Gallon (5.00 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 64.49 inches (1638 mm) long.

The 2008 MY Harley Davidson Shrine FLSTF Fat Boy sports an air-cooled, 1584cc, Twin Cam 96 V-twin powerhouse mated to a six-speed manual transmission with a Cruise Drive system, and can produce 125 Nm of torque at 3000 rpm.

This machine is dedicated and can only be purchased by members of the Shriners of North America fraternity and comes with tow special paint schemes, found only on this series. In all other aspects, it is the same as the base Fat Boy from House Milwaukee.

The 2009 MY Harley Davidson Shrine Fat Boy sports an air-cooled, 1584cc, Twin Cam 96B V-twin powerhouse mated to a six-speed manual transmission with a Cruise Drive technology, and can produce 122 Nm of torque at 2750 rpm.

Unlike its previous embodiment, this machine comes with a new, chrome, horseshoe oil tank, a new, stainless steel, wide, cruiser bar, a new, 200mm rear tire, a new chrome over/under shotgun exhaust, an increased load capacity, plus a new frame and swingarm.

The 2010 MY Harley Davidson Shrine Fat Boy is dedicated to men of the cloth and spiritual guides in general, and comes with special paint schemes, that can be found only on MoCo models from this series. At its heart lies an air-cooled, 1584cc, Twin Cam 96B V-twin powerhouse mated to a six-speed manual transmission with a Cruise Drive technology, and can produce 127 Nm of torque at 3000 rpm.

Also, this machines boasts all the features and improvements found on the base Fat Boy, such as the new, "horseshoe" oil tank with chrome external oil lines, the fat, 200mm rear tire, a new helical cut 5th gear for smoother shifting ot the slotted disc, cast-aluminum wheels.

The 2011 MY Harley Davidson FLSTF Fat Boy sports an air-cooled, 1584cc, Twin Cam 96B V-twin powerhouse mated to a six-speed manual transmission that features a Cruise Drive system, and can produce a claimed 127 Nm of torque at 3000 rpm. It has been designed in honor of spiritual guides of every religion, and can be purchased with two special paint schemes.

Standard features include new hand controls, a new odometer trip switch, a new single button hazzard warning and a larger odometer readout with gear and rpm display, as opposed to its previous incarnation. It also boasts silver, bullet-hole disc, cast-aluminum wheels, a fat, 200mm rear tire, full-size rider foot boards, a two-piece, two-up saddle, a custom trimmed fender and lots of chrome plating throughout the machine.
