The bike has a chain transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc, manual.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a D407 MH90-21 54H front tire and a D407 200/55R17 78V rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single 292mm disc, 4-piston caliper in the front and a single 292mm disc, 2-piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a 41mm telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a monoshock. The Softail Custom 105th Anniversary Custom was fitted with a 1.32 Gallon (5.00 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 64.49 inches (1638 mm) long.

The 2008 MY Harley Davidson FXSTC ANV 105th Anniversary Softail Custom sports an air-cooled, 1584cc, Twin Cam 96B V-Twin powerhouse mated to a six-speed manual transmission, and can produce 120 Nm of torque at 2750 rpm.
It has been designed to commemorate 105 years of Harley Davidson motorcycle design and production, and comes with a special paint scheme, Anniversary Copper and Vivid Black. In all other departments, it has the same features as the base Softail Custom.
