The Honda Ape50 was a single cylinder, four-stroke standard produced by Honda between 2002 and 2016. Max torque was 2.66 ft/lbs (3.6 Nm) @ 6000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 3.49 HP (2.6 KW) @ 8000 RPM.

Engine[edit | edit source]

The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 42.0mm bore x 35.6mm stroke result in a displacement of just 49.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a overhead cams (ohc).

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 5-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet, multiplate.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 120/80-12 front tire and a 120/80-12 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via expanding brake (drum brake) in the front and a expanding brake (drum brake) in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a swing arm. The Ape50 was fitted with a 1.45 Gallon (5.50 Liters) fuel tank.
