The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 50.0mm bore x 45.6mm stroke result in a displacement of just 89.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a overhead cams (ohc).

The bike has a 3-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the multi plate wet automatic.
