A 76.2mm bore x 76.2mm stroke result in a displacement of just 998.0 cubic centimeters.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a Close-ratio six-speed manual transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi-disc, manual, hydraulic.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 120/70ZR-17 radial front tire and a 180/55ZR-17 radial rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual 310 mm disc with triple-piston calipers, C-ABS in the front and a single 256 mm disc with dual-piston caliper, C-ABS in the rear. The front suspension was a 43 mm inverted HMAS cartridge fork with full adjustability; 120 mm (4.7 in.) travel while the rear was equipped with a Pro-Arm single-sided swingarm with HMAS single shock with preload and rebound damping adjustment; 128 mm (5 in.) travel. The wheelbase was 56.89 inches (1445 mm) long.
2014 Honda CB1000RA ABS[edit | edit source]
In order to make a liter-class bike which feels like a supersport one safer, Honda offers an ABS version for their acclaimed CB1000R naked road warrior. The 2013 CB1000RA ABS brings in extra peace of mind with shorter stopping distances under hard braking, while adding to the bike's stability on slippery surfaces.
Juts like the base version, the CB1000RA ABS comes with a new chassis which improves handling and the aggressive riding position, while still making the bike comfy for longer hauls.
