A 66.0mm bore x 66.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 599.0 cubic centimeters.

The bike has a 6 Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi-disc, manual.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 120/70ZR - 17 radial front tire and a 160/60ZR - 17 radial rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual 296 mm discs with three-piston calipers, Combined ABS in the front and a single 240 mm disc with single-piston caliper, Combined ABS in the rear. The front suspension was a 41 mm fork with adjustable preload; 120 mm (4.7 in) travel while the rear was equipped with a Single shock with adjustable preload; 125 mm (4.9 in.) travel. The wheelbase was 58.7 inches (1491 mm) long.

The 2009 Honda CBF600 ABS is a great all-rounder machine for those who are looking for a bike that's easy to ride and packed with high performance, too. Great for daily commuting and a nifty street touring machine with accessory storage, this bike is fairly easy to master for newer riders, while being able to provide a hefty adrenaline rush in the hands of skilled motorcyclist.
A racing-derived cast aluminum frame shaves weight and provides sharp handling, but the ergonomics of the 2009 CBRF600 ABS are designed for spending many hours aboard the bike and still feel ok. Add in a 3-way adjustable seat and compliant suspensions for a bike which feels great wherever it may ride.
