The Honda CBR1000RRA ABS was a liquid-cooled inline four-cylinder, DOHC; four valves per cylinder Sport Bike motorcycle produced by Honda in 2014. Max torque was 84.09 ft/lbs (114.0 Nm) @ 10500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 181.04 HP (135.0 KW) @ 12250 RPM.

A 76.2mm bore x 76.2mm stroke result in a displacement of just 999.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a Close-ratio six-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi-disc, manual.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 120/70ZR-17 radial front tire and a 190/50ZR-17 radial rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Dual radial-mounted four-piston calipers with 320 mm discs, C-ABS in the front and a Single 220mm disc, C-ABS in the rear. The front suspension was a 43mm inverted Big Piston fork with spring preload, rebound and compression damping adjustability; 4.3 inches travel while the rear was equipped with a Unit Pro-Link Balance Free Rear shock with spring preload, rebound and compression-damping adjustability; 5.4 inches travel. The wheelbase was 55.51 inches (1410 mm) long.

The CBR1000RR ABS is a natural evolution from the base model year, with the addition of even more control for the "civilian" rider. A full-fledged racing bike, the 2013 CBR1000RRA ABS sports many track-developed technologies and parts, from the new racing-grade bubble to the Showa BPF front suspensions to the revised cylinder heads, exhaust and intake and comprehensive LCD.

Honda's ABS is integrated with the existing combined braking system and offers precise control over the stopping power both on the track and on the street.
