The CM450E-82 was sold in 1982 and was available in one of two colors: Candy Muse Red or Candy Imperial Blue. The "CM450E" side cover decal was gold. The wheel had wire spokes. The front brakes were mechanical drum. There was no tachometer -- only a speedometer with a 85 mph (135 kph) limit. The engine color was silver. The engine was a 447cc SOHC 3-valve parallel twin linked to a 6-speed transmission. The serial number began JH2PC053*CM000008.

CM450E-83 was sold in 1983 and was available in one of two colors: Candy Regal Brown or Black. The gas tank and side covers were 2-toned. The "450" side cover decal was silver. The wheel had wire spokes. The front brakes were mechanical drum. There was no tachometer -- only a speedometer with a 105 mph (170 kph) limit. The engine color was black.
