The Honda CRF1000L AFRICA TWIN DCT was a Liquid-cooled, four-stroke Unicam 8-valve Parallel Twin Adventure motorcycle produced by Honda in 2017. Max torque was 98.1 ft/lbs (133.0 Nm) @ 6000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 94.01 HP (70.1 KW) @ 7500 RPM.

A 91.4mm bore x 91.4mm stroke result in a displacement of just 998.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a Automatic DCT 6-Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi-plate.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 90/90-21 front tire and a 150/70R-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Dual hydraulic discs: ABS, 310 mm in the front and a Single hydraulic disc: ABS, 256 mm in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic fork, 45mm travel while the rear was equipped with a Pro-Link shock: 8.66 in. travel. The wheelbase was 62.01 inches (1575 mm) long.
