The Honda GL1100 Gold Wing was a four cylinder boxer, four-stroke standard produced by Honda between 1979 and 1983. It could reach a top speed of 119 mph (192 km/h). Claimed horsepower was 81.27 HP (60.6 KW) @ 7500 RPM.

Engine[edit | edit source]

The engine was a liquid cooled four cylinder boxer, four-stroke. A 75.0mm bore x 61.4mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1084.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a overhead cams (ohc).

The bike has a 5-speed transmission.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 110/90-19 front tire and a 130/90-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a air assist, conventional while the rear was equipped with a air assist. The GL1100 Gold Wing was fitted with a 5.02 Gallon (19.00 Liters) fuel tank.
