The Honda GL1200DX Gold Wing was a four cylinder boxer, four-stroke standard produced by Honda between 1984 and 1987. It could reach a top speed of 119 mph (191 km/h). Claimed horsepower was 91.99 HP (68.6 KW) @ 7000 RPM.

The engine was a liquid cooled four cylinder boxer, four-stroke. A 75.5mm bore x 66.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1181.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a overhead cams (ohc).

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 5-speed transmission.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 130/90-16 front tire and a 150/90-15 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The GL1200DX Gold Wing was fitted with a 5.81 Gallon (22.00 Liters) fuel tank.
