The Honda GOLD WING was a Liquid-cooled horizontally opposed six-cylinder Touring motorcycle produced by Honda between 2017 and 2018. Max torque was 123.18 ft/lbs (167.0 Nm) @ 4000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 116.0 HP (86.5 KW) @ 5500 RPM.

A 73.7mm bore x 73.7mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1833.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 6-Speed including overdrive transmission.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 130/70R-18 front tire and a 200/55-16 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Hydraulic dual 320mm discs in the front and a Hydraulic single 316mm disc in the rear. The front suspension was a Double Wishbone Type; 4.3 inches travel while the rear was equipped with a Pro Arm single-side swingarm with Pro-Link single shock; 4.1 inches travel. The wheelbase was 66.69 inches (1694 mm) long.

No motorcycle has changed the concept of touring like the Honda Gold Wing. A horizontally opposed engine offering power, performance and perfect smoothness. Shaft final drive. The 2018 Gold Wing Honda is trying to shake off those preconceptions, to create a bike that might just appeal to a younger audience that doesn't just want comfort, but also engagement. Few bikes carry more baggage than the Honda Gold Wing, and that's not thanks to the current model's expansive saddle bags and cavernous top trunk.
