Stopping was achieved via 320 mm wave disc with triple-piston caliper in the front and a ear 240 mm wave disc with single-piston caliper. Combined Braking System with ABS in the rear. The front suspension was a 41mm telescopic fork; 120 mm (4.7 in.)travel while the rear was equipped with a Single shock, Pro-Link swingarm; 120 mm (4.7 in.) travel. The 6-speed manual tranny can be replaced with the optional DCT, providing either full- or semi-automatic shifting and two riding modes: D, for everyday rides and S for a more sporty power deployment. The 2011 Honda NC700XA also comes with an underseat fuel tank, thus offering 21 liters of storage where the tank would be on traditional bikes.
