The Honda RVF400RT was a v4, four-stroke standard produced by Honda in 1996. It could reach a top speed of 135 mph (217 km/h).

The engine was a liquid cooled v4, four-stroke. A 55.0mm bore x 42.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 399.0 cubic centimeters.

The bike has a 6-speed transmission.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

Stopping was achieved via double disc. double floating disc; 4-piston nissin calipers in the front and a single disc. single solid disc; 2-piston nissin caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a 41mm showa cartridge forks while the rear was equipped with a single-sided swing arm, gas-filled damper with remote reservoir. The RVF400RT was fitted with a 3.96 Gallon (15.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 363.76 pounds (165.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 52.95 inches (1345 mm) long.
