The Honda RVT1000R RC51 was a liquid-cooled 90-degree V-twin, 4-stroke DOHC Sport Bike motorcycle produced by Honda between 2000 and 2006. Max torque was 70.81 ft/lbs (96.0 Nm) @ 8000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 133.03 HP (99.2 KW) @ 10000 RPM.

A 99.1mm bore x 99.1mm stroke result in a displacement of just 999.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 6 Speed, manual, close ratio transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi-disc, manual.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 120/70ZR-17 radial front tire and a 190/50ZR-17 radial rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Dual full-floating 320mm discs with four-piston calipers in the front and a Single 220mm disc with single-piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a 43mm inverted HMAS cartridge fork with spring preload, rebound and compression damping adjustability; 5.1 inches travel while the rear was equipped with a Pro-Link HMAS single shock w/spring-preload, rebound- & compression-damping adjustability; 4.7-in. travel. The wheelbase was 55.91 inches (1420 mm) long.
