The 2002 Honda ST1300 is the natural evolution of the base ST1100 model. After 12 generations, the ST1100 transformed into the ST1300, with a bigger and more powerful engine, but still lighter and with overall better performance.

The bike also received and all-new aluminum frame, upgraded PGM-Fi injection, a new bodywork and enhanced aerodynamics and comfort levels.

Evolved from the smaller ST100, the ST1300 Pan European is Honda's elite sport-touring machine. With design cues clearly inspired by bikes created to win races at the track, but with unprecedented levels of comfort for both rider and passenger, this bike is a great choice for mile-munching vacations.

Offering premium features in terms of ergonomics and convenience, the 2003 ST1300 Pan European also provides color-matched, integrated hard sidecases which make long trips a breeze. Building on the proven ST1300 platform, Honda expands the convenience of its sport-touring class and adds more safety to riding motorcycles. As the base version of the 2004 Pan European is already equipped with the proprietary linked braking system which intelligently distributes the stopping force between the axles even if a single brake lever is engaged, adding ABS to the bike was a natural move.

Anti-locking brakes improve the stopping distance on dry roads, while adding stability when braking on slippery, difficult surfaces. On the tech side, the ABS version is several pounds heavier, but retains the full sporty character of the base model.

The 2005 ST1300 Pan European carries on Honda's heritage and boasts the same road-worthiness customers grew used to. With plenty of real estate for the rider and pillion, the bike also comes with a generous luggage system which can be expanded with a top case and tank bag, for even more convenience. Add in excellent weather protection and optional ABS for an even better ride, wherever it might take you.

One of the most successful sport-touring Honda ever created, the ST1300 Pan European is part of the segment's elite. Powerful and manageable, the 2006 iteration puts 125hp at the rider's fingertips and torque to match it, from the lower rpm range to to the top-end needed for fast highway hauls.

Precise injection and adjustable suspensions make sure the ride is smooth and pleasant even on less-than-perfect roads, while the ample bodywork provides top weather protection. Ample luggage storage makes the bike a great choice for a vacation vehicle, as far as you can live with the bare necessities. This year also brings the Light Silver Metallic livery.

2008 Honda ST1300

Honda ST1300 is the bigger, more powerful brother of the Deauville. Both bikes share the same basic design cues, but the ST1300 is not at all shy to show off its stronger character and its belonging to the world elite of road-touring motorcycles. With rider and passenger comfort being primary objectives, the 2007 ST1300 brings plush seating and excellent wind protection, to go with the generous integrated storage.

Powered by a mighty V4 engine which used road racing-derived technology and engineering, the ST1300 is sure to offer quite a blast in the hands of skilled riders for fast highway hauls, uphill strides across mountains and winding backroads.

The ST1300 incorporates many of the X-Wing's lines but none of its running gear. Power comes from a lower-slung 1261 cc V4 engine mounted as a stressed member in a lighter aluminum frame. A major difference from the ST1100 is the use of balance shafts for smoothness, allowing the engine to be directly mounted to the frame. The revised engine layout and a split fuel tank shift some of the weight downward, making the ST1300 less top-heavy than its predecessor. This new ST 1300 features an ABS system. It has a Telescopic Fork Front Suspension while the Rear Suspension consists of a Twin Sided Swing Arm. The ST1300 Base has Front Dual Hydraulic Disc Brakes and Rear Hydraulic Disc Brakes.

Even if your budget is too small for a Gold Wing, Honda still has great machinery in store for you: the ST1300, another wonderful touring beast which will provide you with a huge smile and endless fun on the winding roads of the world. Smaller than the Gold Wing and with a hefty dose of sportbike DNA, the 2008 ST1300 aims for those who are in search of a more nimble motorcycle.

Boasting the same focus over comfort and ergonomics, the 2008 Honda ST1300 provides generous seating for two, integrated lockable storage, great protection against elements and plenty of power for both smooth city rides and highway hauls.

Favored by sport-touring enthusiasts and police forces alike, the Honda ST1300 ABS is a true do-it-all machine which will carry you far beyond the state line and across continents in style. Powered by a smooth, injected V4 engine, the 2009 ST1300 ABS likes to reach the top revs, just like any other sport bike does. However, the racing character has been tamed to comply with the street-level demands, for a more intuitive operation.

The 2009 Honda ST1300 ABS brings in an adjustable seat and electrically-adjustable windscreen, premium adjustable suspension for a perfect road stance regardless of the load. Add in a race-derived light chassis, Gold Wing-inspired comfort and convenient, maintenance-free shaft drive and ABS for the maximum riding joy.

Bringing the safety-minded ABS brakes to the asphalt game, the 2011 Honda ST1300 is now an even better sport-touring machine. With Honda mastering the art of building V4 engines, it's only natural that the new ST1300 is capable to deliver top=drawer torque, awesome high-speed long hauls and great economy, too.

With plenty of onboard storage, the 2011 Honda ST1300 is ready for a vacation spent on two wheels, and it can haul along quite a lot of gear. And with shaft drive, maintenance is kept to a minimum, without sacrificing performance and even more, with consistent operation regardless of the weather conditions. With Gold Wing-inspired comfort and CBR-wannabe performance, it's small wonder the Police buys so many of these.
