The Honda VF750C is a motorcycle produced by Honda from 1982 to 83, then again in '88 then brought back again from '94-03. It was more commonly known as the Manga V45.

1982[edit | edit source]
The VF750C'82 V45 Magna was sold in 1982 and was available in one of two colors: Candy Maroon or Candy Imperial Blue. The headlight, instruments, and fenders were chrome. The gas tank and side covers were the basic color (maroon or blue). The front disc brake grooves were straight. The speedometer had a 85 mph (135 kph) limit. The engine was a 748cc DOHC 4-valve liquid-cooled V-4 linked to a 6-speed transmission and a shaft drive. The serial number began JH2RC071*CM000033.

The VF750C'83 V45 Magna was sold in 1983 and was available in one of two colors: maroon or black. The headlight, instruments, and fenders were chrome. The gas tank and side covers were the basic color (maroon or black). The front disc brake grooves were curved. The speedometer had a 150 mph (240 kph) limit.

The VF750C'88 V45 Magna was sold in 1988 and was available in one of two colors: Black or Candy Bourgogne Red. The air cleaner cover was wrinkle black with a "V45" emblem. The exhaust system was a 4-into-4. The rear wheel was aluminum disc. The chin fairing was color matched. The "MAGNA" tank decal was silver. The engine was a 748cc DOHC 4-valve liquid-cooled V-4 linked to a 6-speed transmission and a shaft drive. The serial number began JH2RC280*JA100001.

The VF750C'96 Magna was sold in 1996 and was available in one of four colors: Pure Red, Pearl Shining Yellow, Black, or Orange. The gas tank logo was redesigned. The serial number began JH2RC430*TM200001.

The VF750C2'97 Magna was sold in 1997 and was available in one of two color schemes: Pure Red with Black or Black with Pearl Shinning Yellow. The serial number began JH2RC433*VM200001.
The VF750C'97 Magna was sold in 1997 and was available in one color scheme: Black. In California it was known as the VF750CL. The serial number began JH2RC430*VM300001 for the 49-State model, and JH2RC431*VM300001 for the California model.

The VF750C'98 Magna was sold in 1998 and was available in one solid color scheme: Black. The 49-State serial number began JH2RC430*WM400001, while the VF750CL California model began JH2RC431*WM400001.
The VF750C2'98 Magna was sold in 1998 and was available in one of two color schemes: Black with Terra Silver Metallic or Black with Pearl Sparkling Blue. The 49-State serial number began JH2RC433*WM300001, while the VF750C2L California model began JH2RC434*WM300001.
