The Honda Varadero was a Liquid cooled, four stroke, 90 degree V-twin cylinder, DOHC, 4 valve per cylinder Touring motorcycle produced by Honda between 2008 and 2009.

Engine[edit | edit source]

A 99.1mm bore x 99.1mm stroke result in a displacement of just 996.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 6 Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet, multiplate with coil springs.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 110/80-19 front tire and a 150/70-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual 296 mm discs with triple-piston calipers and Combined Braking System with ABS in the front and a 256 mm disc with triple-piston caliper and Combined Braking System with ABS in the rear. The front suspension was a 43mm telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a Pro-Link single shock with spring preload and rebound-damping adjustability; 145 mm (5.7 inches) travel. The wheelbase was 61.42 inches (1560 mm) long.
