The Horex Roadster was a V6, four-stroke Naked motorcycle produced by Horex between 2012 and 2013. Max torque was 100.31 ft/lbs (136.0 Nm) @ 7000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 161.06 HP (120.1 KW) @ 9000 RPM.

A 68.6mm bore x 68.6mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1218.0 cubic centimeters.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a Chain transmission. Power was moderated via the Multi-disc oil bath clutch.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 120/70-ZR17 front tire and a 190/55-ZR17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Double disc in the front and a Disc in the rear. The front suspension was a WP USD fork while the rear was equipped with a Wp Single central spreing strut. The wheelbase was 58.11 inches (1476 mm) long.
2012 Horex Roadster[edit | edit source]
The VR6 Roadster has a series of innovations including a clever and compact 1218cc six-cylinder engine. The bike produces 161bhp and a thumping 100ftlb of torque which comes in some impressively low rpm slugs.
The six-cylinder engine delivers 66ftlb of torque at 2000rpm, increasing to 74ftlb at 3500rpm.

The heart of the new HOREX is the VR6 engine, the world´s first and only motorcycle power plant to use this space-saving cylinder configuration. With a width of only 429 millimeters measured at the cylinder head, the VR6 is as narrow and compact as most four-cylinder engines.
