The Husqvarna FE450 was a single cylinder, four-stroke Enduro motorcycle produced by Husqvarna between 2014 and 2019.
Engine[edit | edit source]
The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 95.0mm bore x 63.4mm stroke result in a displacement of just 449.9 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (sohc).
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet, dds multi-disc clutch, magura hydraulics.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 90/90-21 front tire and a 140/80-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc. magura twin-piston floating caliper in the front and a single disc. magura single-piston floating caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a wp-usd xplor 48 with preload adjuster while the rear was equipped with a wp shock absorber with linkage. The FE450 was fitted with a 2.25 Gallon (8.50 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 243.39 pounds (110.4 Kg). The wheelbase was 58.35 inches (1482 mm) long.
2017 Husqvarna FE 450[edit | edit source]
The new crankshaft is 100g lighter but features the same level of inertia as its predecessor. Additionally, a shorter connecting rod and new crankshaft position improve mass centralisation and contribute to the compact design.
