The 2012 MY Husqvarna Nuda 900R sports a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 898cc, in-line two cylinder powerhouse paired to a six-speed manual transmission, and can produce an impressive 105 horsepower and 100 Nm of torque. It is a performance-oriented machine, with premium parts, such as the Ohlins rear shock, the 48mm Sachs forks and the Brembo monoblock racing brakes with 320mm discs.

In addition, it boasts one of the boldest designs to be found on a Husqvarna, with sharp lines on the fuel tank and seat, which strongly contrast with the curves of its lightweight chassis. Also, a carbon fiber headlamp housing, end cap, and heat shield help it tip the scale at just 175kg, which makes it one of the lightest two-wheelers in its class.

Unlike its 900R sibling, the 2012 MY Husqvarna Nuda 900 has been designed to be less flash and more do, with more user-friendly ergonomics, and a paint scheme that is less noticeable. The major differences between the two naked machines are the lower seat height, which mean that a pillion is more comfortable atop this machine, the 48mm Sachs front fork, the fully-adjustable Sachs rear monoshock, and the Brembo four-piston radial calipers, for a reduced stopping distance.

At its heart lies a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 898cc, in-line two cylinder powerplant mated to a six-speed manual transmission, and can produce 105 horsepower and 100 Nm of torque. In addition, the paint scheme is black, with a few white accents, which give it a modern, yet, subtle appearance, sure to fit the taste of a wide variety of riders.
