The engine was a oil & air cooled v2, four-stroke. A 44.0mm bore x 41.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 124.5 cubic centimeters. The engine featured a 10.2:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).

The bike has a 5-speed transmission. The final drive was via chain. Power was moderated via the wet, multiplate.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 110/70-17 front tire and a 150/70-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic fork while the rear was equiped with a hydraulic mono shock absorber. The GT125P was fitted with a 4.49 Gallon (17.00 Liters) fuel tank.
