The Hyosung GT650S Sports Tourer was a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, V-Twin, DOHC, 4 valves per cylinder Sport touring motorcycle produced by Hyosung between 2009 and 2011. Max torque was 48.68 ft/lbs (66.0 Nm) @ 7250 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 80.06 HP (59.7 KW) @ 9250 RPM.

A 81.3mm bore x 81.3mm stroke result in a displacement of just 647.0 cubic centimeters.

The bike has a 6-speed, manual transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc, manual.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 120/60 ZR-17 front tire and a 160/60 ZR-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual 300mm discs, 4-piston calipers in the front and a single 230mm discs, 2-piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a 41mm upside-down telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a progressive, hydraulic monoshock. The wheelbase was 56.5 inches (1435 mm) long.

The 2009 MY Hyosung GT650S has, at its heart, a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 647cc, 90-degree V-Twin powerhouse mated to a six-speed manual transmission, and produces 79 horsepower and 67 Nm of torque. This machine has been derived from the base GT650 for riders who want to spend as much time as possible in the saddle, but also want sportbike-like performance. It comes with a half-fairing, a high-end suspension package with an inverted front fork and an adjustable rear monoshock, throw-over panniers, a small, adjustable windscreen and a rear luggage rack.
