The bike has a 5-speed, manual transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc, manual.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 120/80 -16 60H front tire and a 170/80 -15 77H rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual 300mm disc, 2-piston caliper in the front and a single 270mm disc, 2-piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a 41mm telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a hydraulic dual shocks. The wheelbase was 66.5 inches (1689 mm) long.

The 2009 MY Hyosung GV650SE Special Limited 30th Anniversary Edition has, at its heart, a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 647cc, 90-degree V-Twin powerhouse paired to a five-speed manual transmission, and can produce 80 horsepower and 67 Nm of torque.
This machine has been especially designed to celebrate 30 years since the Korean brand has been manufacturing two-wheeled machines, and comes with a special, gloss and matte black finishes, with candy-red highlights. Only 1000 units have been produced, and each one is embossed with "30 Anniversary xxx out of 1000".
