The engine was a Air cooled cooled Four stroke, V-twin, 2 valve per cylinder.. The engine featured a 9.0:1 compression ratio.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 130/90-16 front tire and a 150/90-16 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Single 292mm disc 2 piston calipers in the front and a Single 292mm disc 1 piston calipers in the rear. The front suspension was a 41 mm diameter while the rear was equipped with a Single shock. The Chief Vintage L.E. was fitted with a 20.8 Liters / 5.5 US gal fuel tank. The bike weighed just 341.5 kg / 753 lbs. The wheelbase was 1737 mm / 68.4 in long.
