The James Comet was a single cylinder, two-stroke standard produced by James between 1955 and 1958.

Engine[edit | edit source]

The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, two-stroke. A 47.0mm bore x 57.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 98.0 cubic centimeters.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 2.75-19 front tire and a 2.75-19 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via expanding brake (drum brake) in the front and a expanding brake (drum brake) in the rear. The Comet was fitted with a 2.69 Gallon (10.20 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 165.35 pounds (75.0 Kg).
