The engine was a Liquid cooling system, continuous circulation of cooling liquid with water pump cooled Four stroke, 75°V-twin cylinder, DOHC, 4 valves per cylinder. The engine featured a 13.1:1 compression ratio.
Drive[edit | edit source]
Power was moderated via the PASC anti-hopping clutch/ hydraulically operated.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 120/70-ZR19 front tire and a 170/60-ZR17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 2 x 330 mm disc with radially mounted four-piston brake calipers in the front and a Single 267 mm disc brake with two-piston brake caliper; fixed brake disc in the rear. The front suspension was a WP Semi-active Suspension USD Ø 48 mm while the rear was equipped with a Shock absorber WP Semi-active Suspension PDS Monoshock. The 1290 Super Adventure was fitted with a 30 Liters / 7.93 US gal fuel tank. The bike weighed just 229.0 kg / 504.9 lbs. The wheelbase was 1560±15 mm / 61.4 in long.
