The KTM 525 MX Desert Racing was a single cylinder, four-stroke standard produced by KTM in 2004.

The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 95.0mm bore x 72.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 510.4 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a overhead cams (ohc).
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 6-speed transmission.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a wp-usd 48 ma while the rear was equipped with a wp-pds-shock absorber. The 525 MX Desert Racing was fitted with a 3.7 Gallon (14.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 261.69 pounds (118.7 Kg). The wheelbase was 58.31 inches (1481 mm) long.
