The engine was a Liquid cooled cooled Four stroke, single cylinder, SOHC, 4 valves per cylinder.

Power was moderated via the Wet, multi-disc.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 90/90 - 21 M/C 54M M+S TT, Metzeler MCE 6 Days Extreme front tire and a 140/80 - 18 M/C 70M M+S TT, Metzeler MCE 6 Days Extreme rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Single 260 mm disc, floating caliper in the front and a Single 220 mm disc, floating caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a WP 4860 MXMA PA usd fork while the rear was equipped with a WP Suspension PDS 5018 DCC, aluminum swing arm. The 530 EXC Six Days was fitted with a 9.0 L / 2.4 US gal / 2.0 Imp gal fuel tank. The bike weighed just 114 kg / 251 lbs. The wheelbase was 1475 mm / 58.1 in long.

The large SOHC engine develops brutal four-stroke power and also convinces with smooth power delivery on selective trails. In combination with the completely overhauled chassis, the new 530 EXC is the first choice for everyone who simply cant get enough.
The SIX-DAYS models draw their power from two-stroke and four-stroke racing engines which have been optimized down to the finest detail for Enduro racing. Powerful, with perfect power delivery and excellent durability. Pure energy!
Ergonomic tank for ideal contact with the bike. Special KTM airflow system with ducts beneath the spoilers for an optimum fresh air supply to the airbox. Another advantage for racing: transparent polyethylene lets you see the fuel level from the outside.
The seat of the Six-Days bike is supplied with additional pockets and logos. It also has a reduced-weight, optimized foam core for improved comfort and longer service life.
