Engine[edit | edit source]

The engine was a Liquid cooling system, continuous circulation with water pump cooled Four stroke, single cylinder, SOHC, 4 valves per cylinder. The engine featured a 11.7:1 compression ratio.

Drive[edit | edit source]

Power was moderated via the APTC™ Anti-hopping clutch in oil bath / hydraulically operated.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 90/90 -21 front tire and a 140/80 -18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Single 300 mm Brembo disc brake with two-piston brake caliper, floating, ABS in the front and a Single240 mm Brembo disc brake with single-piston brake caliper, floating, ABS in the rear. The front suspension was a WP Suspension 4860 D48/26 MA, Ø48 mm while the rear was equipped with a WP Suspension 4618 with Pro‑Lever linkage. The 690 Enduro R was fitted with a 12 Liters / 3.17 US gal fuel tank. The bike weighed just 139 kg / 306 lbs. The wheelbase was 1504 mm / 59.2 in long.
