The KTM RC125 was a single cylinder, four-stroke Sport Bike motorcycle produced by KTM between 2014 and 2019.

Engine[edit | edit source]

The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 58.0mm bore x 47.2mm stroke result in a displacement of just 124.7 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc clutch, mechanically actuated.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 110/90-r17 front tire and a 150/70-r17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc. abs. four-piston calipers. in the front and a single disc. abs. floating disc. single-piston caliper. in the rear. The front suspension was a wp upside-down ø 43 mm while the rear was equipped with a wp monoshock. The RC125 was fitted with a 2.64 Gallon (10.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 297.62 pounds (135.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 52.76 inches (1340 mm) long.

The entry level for really ambitious racers. The state-of-the-art, water-cooled DOHC engine delivers 11 kW (15 hp), 12 Nm of torque and total race performance for everyday use. Every ride turns into preparation for the next race with the street-legal KTM RC 125. The RC 125 runs an oversquare layout with a 58 mm bore and 47.2 mm stroke for a total displacement of 124.7 cc while the 89 mm bore and 60 mm stroke of the 390 boosts that up to 373.2 cc. Both use Bosch Engine Management Systems, but the 390 adds ride-by-wire throttle control to the mix for even greater levels of electronic augmentation.
