The KTM 450 SMC USA was a single cylinder, four-stroke standard produced by KTM in 2004. Max torque was 40.57 ft/lbs (55.0 Nm) @ 5500 RPM.

The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 95.0mm bore x 63.4mm stroke result in a displacement of just 449.4 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a overhead cams (ohc).

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 6-speed transmission.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a wp-usd 48/26 ma/pa while the rear was equipped with a wp-pds-da shock absorber. The 450 SMC USA was fitted with a 1.85 Gallon (7.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 234.35 pounds (106.3 Kg). The wheelbase was 58.31 inches (1481 mm) long.
