The KTM 990 Supermoto R was a v3, two-stroke standard produced by KTM between 2008 and 2012. Max torque was 71.55 ft/lbs (97.0 Nm) @ 7000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 111.57 HP (83.2 KW) @ 4000 RPM.
Engine[edit | edit source]
The engine was a liquid cooled v3, two-stroke. A 101.0mm bore x 62.4mm stroke result in a displacement of just 999.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc clutch / hydraulically operated.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 120/70-17 front tire and a 180/55-zr17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc. abs. brembo four piston fixed-caliper, radial bolted, brake. in the front and a single disc. abs. two-piston brake caliper; fixed brake disc in the rear. The front suspension was a wp suspension up side down 4860 roma pa while the rear was equipped with a wp suspension 4618 bavp dcc. The 990 Supermoto R was fitted with a 3.96 Gallon (15.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 423.29 pounds (192.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 59.25 inches (1505 mm) long.
