The Kawasaki KLR600E (reduced effect) was a single cylinder, four-stroke Trail motorcycle produced by Kawasaki between 1984 and 1990. It could reach a top speed of 76 mph (122 km/h). Claimed horsepower was 26.42 HP (19.7 KW) @ 6000 RPM.

Engine[edit | edit source]

The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 96.0mm bore x 78.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 564.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 5-speed transmission.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 90/90-21 front tire and a 130/80-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a expanding brake in the rear. The KLR600E (reduced effect) was fitted with a 3.04 Gallon (11.50 Liters) fuel tank.
