The Kawasaki KR1-S was a twin, two-stroke standard produced by Kawasaki in 1992. It could reach a top speed of 135 mph (218 km/h). Max torque was 29.65 ft/lbs (40.2 Nm) @ 10500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 57.93 HP (43.2 KW) @ 10500 RPM.

The engine was a liquid cooled twin, two-stroke. A 56.0mm bore x 50.6mm stroke result in a displacement of just 249.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a membrane.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 6-speed transmission.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 110/70-vr17 front tire and a 140/60-vr18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a swing arm (uni-trak). The KR1-S was fitted with a 4.23 Gallon (16.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 288.81 pounds (131.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 53.74 inches (1365 mm) long.
