The Kawasaki NINJA (GPZ) 250R was a Liquid-cooled, four-stroke, V-twin Sport touring motorcycle produced by Kawasaki in 1985. Max torque was 17.7 ft/lbs (24.0 Nm) @ 10000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 35.94 HP (26.8 KW) @ 11000 RPM.

A 62.0mm bore x 62.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 248.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 6-Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi-discs.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 100/80-16 front tire and a 120/80-16 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Single disc with 2-piston calipers in the front and a Single disc with 1-piston calipers in the rear. The front suspension was a Hydraulic telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a UNI-TRAK system with single shock. The wheelbase was 55.12 inches (1400 mm) long.
