The key features that catch your attention at the 2012 MY Kawasaki Ninja 1000 are the high mounted handle-bars and the pegs, that are a touch higher than what you would normally expect in a sport bike. This combination actually make the aggressive looking Ninja 1000 a surprisingly comfortable short-haul tourer. Kawasaki are even offering a line of optional accessories, such as hard-case saddlebags and heated grips.

On the other hand, the aesthetics, inspired from its bigger, more powerful siblings, has been carefully detailed for aggressive looks that retain much of the track heritage of the Ninja superbikes. Sporty and at the same time, more comfortable and less intimidating, the Ninja 1000 is a connoisseur's choice.

The 2013 MY Kawasaki Ninja 1000 ABS has three key features that make it such an enjoyable bike. The Engine, the chassis and its versatility. The four-stroke, liquid-cooled, four valves per cylinder, inline-four engine displaces 1043cc, but it's not necessarily about the power, because this engine has been fine-tuned to give a strong response at any rpm, with an excellent power delivery that triggers an adrenaline rush every time you accelerate.

The chassis, with an extremely rigid aluminum twin-tube frame, makes the Ninja 1000 highly responsive when steering and also increases maneuverability even in narrow city alleys. These two elements combined lead to a bike that one may ride to work during the week, and on winding mountain roads during the weekend. The Ninja 1000 is available without ABS for purchase in the USA and the UK.

The new 2014 Kawasaki Ninja 1000 ABS comes with a slightly upgraded version of the 1043cc 4-stroke inline-four engine, which provides even more power and torque than the previous version.

KTRC traction control now comes with an "off setting for the more experienced and confident riders, that may want a rice-like sensation when on the road. Also, there is a couple of power modes available to choose from. The first is 70% power, while the second lets you enjoy the full potential of the one liter Kawasaki.

A first for this model, there are optional Kawasaki Quick Release (KQR) 29 liter hard saddlebags available for purchase, which make this bike great even for longer rides.
