The Kawasaki Ninja 650 ABS was a twin, four-stroke Sport touring motorcycle produced by Kawasaki between 2006 and 2019. It could reach a top speed of 137 mph (220 km/h). Max torque was 41.31 ft/lbs (56.0 Nm) @ 4000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 51.23 HP (38.2 KW) @ 8000 RPM.

Engine[edit | edit source]

The engine was a liquid cooled twin, four-stroke. A 83.0mm bore x 60.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 649.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc, manual.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 120/70-17 front tire and a 160/60-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc. petal discs and two-piston calipers. abs. in the front and a single disc. petal disc and single piston caliper. abs. in the rear. The front suspension was a 41mm hydraulic telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a horizontal back-link with adjustable spring preload. The Ninja 650 ABS was fitted with a 4.23 Gallon (16.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 440.92 pounds (200.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 55.51 inches (1410 mm) long.

This bike has a compact liquid-cooled, fuel-injected, 649cc parallel twin engine which delivers very smooth responsiveness. The machine has a 83x60mm bore and stroke an a compression ratio of 11.3:1.

The 2012 MY Kawasaki Ninja 650 is, some might say, the more streetable version of the track-focused ZX-6R. Even though it is capable of track performance, it is also user-friendly at the same time.

The key features introduced in this new model are redesigned bodywork designed to improve aerodynamics, improved brake pads to enhance it's overall stopping power amd precision, and also 20mm wider handlebars to make it more comfortable during long hauls and in crowded spaces.

Its liquid-cooled, DOHC, eight-valve fuel-injected twin cylinder engine delivers 72 horsepower and a maximum torque of 64 nm, has been improved so that it performs better in the lower revs, making it a pretty good city motorcycle, too.

For 2013, the Kawasaki Ninja 650 features the same smooth, quick-revving, four-stroke, liquid-cooled, four-valve, parallel twin 649cc engine. Its rigid twin-pipe perimeter frame makes the bike feel more safe at the knee grip, and the rubber-mounted seat, handlebar and footpegs reduce vibrations and raises comfort level to almost touring-like standards.

The wide bars, the two-piece seat and the footpeg placement also make it a very comfortable bike for the segment it belongs in, while still being able to deliver race-inspired performance. With a sleek, almost supersport-like bodywork, this Ninja will surely turn a few heads on the road, whether you are heading to work, the race track or even a small touring trip. The 2014 MY Kawasaki Ninja 650 ABS sports the same 649cc parallel twin, it is capable of producing 72 horsepower and 64 Nm of torque. The suspension is developed to offer excellent compliance in a variety of scenarios and also improves rider comfort.

The clutch lever is designed to be easy to pull, thus reducing fatigue, and it provides smoother engagement of the gears.

The model is available for purchase without ABS only in the USA.

The 2015 My Kawasaki Ninja 650 ABS comes with a fresh set of paint and graphics, the model being available for purchase in candy lime green/metallic flat spark black, metallic spark black/metallic flat spark black or pearl flat stardust white/ metallic flat spark black.

The 2-wheeler sports a 649cc four-stroke parallel twin that is capable of 72 horsepower and 64 Nm of torque. Even though it is pretty powerful, it makes the rider feel confident behind the bars even at high speeds, thanks to its standard ABS.

It has a stylish bodywork, inspired from its larger Ninja siblings, which makes the 650 turn a few heads when rides down the boulevard.
