The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-12R was a 4 cylinder, 4 stroke, liquid cooled, DOHC 16V Sport Bike motorcycle produced by Kawasaki between 2004 and 2006. It could reach a top speed of 185 mph (298 km/h). Max torque was 98.84 ft/lbs (134.0 Nm) @ 7500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 177.95 HP (132.7 KW) @ 10500 RPM.

The engine was a liquid cooled 4 cylinder, 4 stroke, liquid cooled, DOHC 16V. A 83.8mm bore x 83.8mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1199.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 6-speed, return transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi-disc, manual.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 120/70ZR17M/C (58W) front tire and a 200/50ZR17M/C (75W) rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Dual semi-floating 320 mm discs with radial-mount opposed 4-piston, 4-pad calipers. in the front and a 230 mm disc with opposed twin-piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a 43 mm inverted cartridge fork with adjustable preload and stepless rebound/compression damping. while the rear was equipped with a Bottom-Link Uni-Trak with gas-charged shock,piggy-back reservoir, adjustable preload and stepless rebound/compression damping.. The Ninja ZX-12R was fitted with a 1.32 Gallon (5.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 462.97 pounds (210.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 57.09 inches (1450 mm) long.
